Sleepypod, a pioneer in crash-tested pet travel safety products, has announced a comprehensive rebrand signaling a new chapter for the brand.
This new chapter is rooted in one singular mission – “Protecting What Matters.” Launching with a newly designed website, Sleepypod will offer enhanced safety education, more product-testing insights, and a deep history of real-world accounts from car crash survivors protected by Sleepypod pet safety restraints.
Based in Denver, Colorado, Sleepypod is the first to develop a multidimensional family of 13 data-collecting crash-test pets. Spanning different species, sizes, and body builds, these advanced dummies feature instrumented sensors to measure real-time g-force pressure and point-of-view cameras that capture accurate collision dynamics.
While lab testing indicates potential impact, real-world data reveals true survival conditions. Since 2008, Sleepypod has paired rigorous laboratory testing with real-world accident data collected through its Crash Replacement Program. This dual-data approach enables designers to build innovative restraints proven to succeed where it matters most: on the road. To date, Sleepypod has recorded zero crash-related injuries for pets secured in its carriers and car harnesses.
In addition, with this rebrand Sleepypod is aligning itself more closely with Paw Prosper, its parent company, which acquired the brand in January 2025. A streamlined digital experience connects consumers and pet professionals to Paw Prosper’s one-stop hub for pet wellness, rehabilitation, aging support, pain prevention, pet therapy, and mobility support.
