I used this type of enclosure for a young tropical tortoise. I recommend covering the shiny sides with a tarp or shower curtain because even though its blurry, the reflections can still cause enough of a reaction to worry about stress (my tort would bite at the reflections). And chameleons have those sensitive peepers. If you need to sew on more mesh, a leather upholstery needle can get through the material.
