Hello! For any who want to know, it has now been a good three days since Flash ate the wood chip. He has been acting completely normal since the incident, normal activity level, eating like a horse, chipping away at his cuttlebone, normal poops (every morning during soak, no sign of wood chip being passed), even passed urate. Zero signs of pain or discomfort. I took him to a good vet with sulcata experience this morning, they did a few x-rays and said everything looked clear, no signs at all of impaction, Flash’s system looks completely clear. I was bawling my eyes out these past few days, I mean full on hysterics, absolutely devastated, and now my boyfriend (and probably my tortoise) think I am crazy 
I am of course still going to monitor Flash, but the vet said as long as he keeps eating, pooping, running around etc, in about a week I can fully relax.

All of that being said, there is no longer a single wood chip in Flash’s enclosure. He gets plain messy coco coir and soil (which has actually raised the humidity a good 3-5% so not complaining). I am also working on finding a good area I can feel comfortable taking grass/plants from to improve his diet. I currently have 4 pots of grass seed and 1 pot of dandelion seed I am waiting on growth for. Hopefully Flash will be okay in the end
